The MagPi - Issue 7
Welcome to Issue 7.
The Raspberry Pi and Arduino are a perfect match for real-time applications, where a bit more CPU power is needed for control. Coupling the two devices together opens up the possibility of using a wealth of Arduino shields, too. We look forward to seeing some really interesting projects in the future.
There's an interview from the lead developer of Raspbian (Debian build for the Raspberry Pi), competitions, and a selection of programming articles to get your teeth into.
Ash Stone, Chief Editor of The MagPi
The MagPi is an online magazine dedicated to the Raspberry Pi, created by the community for the community. It's a great way to get to grips with learning how to program your Pi and how to get started on building hardware projects; it’ll also help you find out more about the community around the device and demystify the command line.
